The Path To Happiness

The Path To Happiness

The Path To Happiness.Although many people strive for happiness every day, it frequently fails to materialize for them. They frequently believe that happiness could be theirs if their circumstances were different. Have you ever had a feeling like that? We frequently become entangled in what I refer to as the "if onlys." I wish my husband were more considerate of me. I wish I could do a better job. If only the kids had grown up and left the house. The list could go on forever. The "if only's" can consume so much of our precious time. This is a trap that so many people fall into, and they suffer for the majority of their lives.

The issue is that they are expecting happiness to appear in some way. as though it were something that could be taken away. When happiness does occur, it appears to be so brief that it disappears quickly. It is a common misconception that happiness is nothing more than a fleeting emotion. I'm here to tell you that happiness can be a way of life rather than a feeling. If you will only adhere to a few fundamental principles, happiness can be yours every day.

You must first live in the NOW. You need to be present in the now because yesterday is over and tomorrow is not promised to us. Second, you need to take control of how you think and what you think. A state of mind is what happiness is, and getting your mind in the right place is the first step toward happiness.I must change states if I want to move to California from Texas. I must make some adjustments in order to reside in that state. We will select a train in this analogy. We will reach our destination if the train is moving in the right direction. If we don't know which train we're on, we might end up in a place we don't want.

This train represents your thoughts. That's correct, your thought process. You must board the appropriate train if you do not wish to remain in Texas. You won't get to where you want to go if you let any train of thought enter your mind. You will be taken around. Therefore, how do we board the appropriate train? Graciousness is the key to getting on the right train. Gratitude is an attitude, and if we focus on all the things we have to be thankful for rather than dwelling on our problems, we will discover that we can also be whisked away to the state we desire.
